Mobile lab evaluates park sprinkler systems
A Mobile Lab team evaluated Heritage and Standard parks for irrigation efficiency at no cost to Kern County. They found dry and wet areas, recommended sprinkler head placement, possible pressure boosts, and noted summer irrigation challenges. The effort aims to save water costs while keeping turf high quality. Funding gaps may halt future park evaluations.
