The Kern County Tuberculosis Association reports its Christmas Seal drive is at least $3000 behind plan. Chairwoman Mrs Elmer Richard of Shafter warns shortfall risks losing funds for a mobile TB x ray unit, essential to canvass the county and curb new TB cases. The county aims for 50000, with 138 new TB cases since January 1952. Contributions by mail are encouraged.
