She joined the Navy in October 1990 and trained in battlefield survival personal protective measures basic tactics and weapons use for self defense. Graduation required proficiency in emergency medical techniques casualty evacuation field sanitation and preventive medicine procedures.
Tina M Rodriguez daughter of Max V and Paula G Rodriguez of 406 Goldenwest Ave Shafter recently finished recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island South Carolina. The cycle teaches battlefield survival daily routines standards and physical conditioning with skills in first aid rifle marksmanship and close order drill. She is a 1993 graduate of Shafter High School.
