Class of 1941 Graduates Amid Wartime Turmoil at Shafter High
The Class of 1941 at Shafter High School faced war-time turmoil as many graduates entered military service. The Laurion notes praise the FFA with 110 members and an 18000 dollar farm lab, while the Generals claimed Sierra League titles in football and track. New staff joined and student leaders guided a busy year with Hicks Day, Coronation Ball, and the blue and gold traditions intensified.
