PG&E Warns California Nuclear Initiative Aims to End Nuclear Power
PG&E assistant general counsel Malcolm A. MacKillop testified before the Assembly Committee that the initiative’s liability provisions are designed to fail, not protect the public. He argued the measures would halt existing plants and block new construction without removing liability limits, rendering the plan unworkable. The hearing follows five weeks of debate as California voters prepare to decide in June 1976.
