Funeral services for Jacob J. Voth 85 of 465 W Euclid Shafter were held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor M E Heinrich officiating. Burial followed in Shafter Memorial Park. he died Sunday in a Bakersfield rest home after moving to the area in 1919. He was born April 1 1880 in South Dakota and survived by his widow, son Clarence Voth, daughter Esther Voth, siblings William Voth Lydia Johnson Lena Toews Sarah Johnson and several step children and many nephews and nieces.
