Warning Issued After Rabid Dog Bite Incidents
Dr. Joe Smith of the Kern county health department warns any person who contacted a chubby Toy Shepherd dog from G. C. Comaster, Route 1, Shafter, to report for rabies investigation. The dog, found on Lerdo highway, tested positive. several animals on the Comaster property were bitten. the head was sent to Berkeley. County nurses have warned schoolchildren.

State President Talks To Kern Mineral Group
