Enoch Metheny’s Funeral Honored in Shafter Service
Funeral services for Enoch F. Metheny 61 of Escondido were held at the Church of Christ with military rites by Shafter American Legion Post 213. Metheny born January 28, 1905 in Missouri died Friday at the San Diego Naval hospital. He moved to California in 1954 and lived in Los Angeles and San Diego areas. He served in World War II and is survived by his widow Ruth and daughter Croney Jane Martin.
