Christmas Season Kickoff Fair in Shafter This Week
The first annual Christmas Fair Festival in Shafter runs Friday 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Memorial Hall. James and California avenues will be crowded as merchants showcase gifts from cents to automobiles. Automobiles will park on a hard surface if the lawn is wet.
