John J. Peters is a respected Shafter-Wasco district grower and longtime agriculture advocate. He serves on the National Potato Council Legislative Committee and on the State Production and Marketing Administration Advisory Committee. He directs the Shafter-Wasco Irrigation District and chairs a three member committee studying the Central Valley project and water policy.
