Community meals and donations span Shafter Wasco events
Reservations are required one day in advance for meals served in Shafter and Wasco. The menu runs August 18 to 25 with items such as barbecue chicken legs, ham salad, meatloaf, and pork chop, plus dairy and fruit. Rotary clubs supported the Stuff the Bus drive. Gilmore retires this November, with Junior Miss program outreach emphasized. Donations benefit students across grades with supplies divided by age.
