Promise Keepers rally grows from Colorado to nationwide surge
ThePromise Keepers movement founded by Bill McCartney has expanded from a Boulder 1993 gathering of 52,000 men to summer 1994 events in six states drawing 230,000 participants. Aiming for 800,000 in 1995 across 15 sites, attendees report renewed faith, stronger family ties, and renewed church leadership amid some secular opposition.
