Richland School Trustees Approve 440000 Budget
The Richland School district approved a 1947-48 budget of 440000 at an August 6 public hearing. Of this, 95000 funds construction including a planned swimming pool if a federal permit is secured. The plan calls for 180000 in teachers salaries and 36000 operating costs with 7000 for maintenance and 19000 for transportation. A separate cafeteria budget totals 68042.30 income and expenditure with a small year end balance.
