Kern County Commissioner Bob Edwards announced relief for cotton growers hit by worms under Section 18 of the Federal Insecticide Fungicide and Rodenticide Act. The extension allows five additional materials not previously available, aiding severely damaged fields while excluding lightly damaged plots. Written damage reports are required. Wasco Woman Pleads Guilty to Welfare Fraud
Joy A. Rollins of 1015 13th Street pleaded guilty before Judge Robert Baca in Western Municipal Court to welfare fraud.
