On Friday August 3 at about 9:00 a.m. Kern County Fire Department responded to 17000 block of Central Valley Highway after workers at Nikkei Iron Works reported exposure to pesticide spray. Seventeen workers sought treatment for eye irritation and dizziness. three were on site initially.
