Shafter Adobes Muse Need A Site For Heritage
Shafter explores locating a local museum to house General William Shafter artifacts. The former Seventh Day Adventist Church at Sunset and South Shafter Avenue, built in 1924, is a candidate owned by Al Anderson and currently vacant. Other adobes include the County Building and private homes, with future articles to highlight their histories.
