Rollins Case Highlights Defense Witness Inconsistencies
The 10 year old Oldsmobile owned by Rollins father Offord Rollins III was washed before the trip. Defense witnesses’ inconsistent testimony undermined Lemacchi’s case as Rollins faltered on the stand. Jurors questioned the credibility of Rollins and his claim of seeing the victim the day before her murder. Judge McGillivray’s likelihood to grant a new trial appears slim. Rollins remains in protective custody at Lerdo Detention.
