Depot Relocation Debate Prompts Local Fundraising Effort

Stan Wilson property and Manuel Park are eyed as potential sites. Relocating the Shafter depot could cost about 15000 dollars with foundation work and a new floor. Grants from historical societies may assist, while the Recreation District and community volunteers plan donation boxes and committee actions to locate the depot and raise funds.
