Ex-Shafterite Drowns at Lake Nacimiento
Funeral services were held for Dean Clay Teague a former Shafter businessman who drowned April 2 at Lake Nacimiento. He was born in Bakersfield May 28, 1930 and served in the U S Navy 1947 1954. Teague and his wife ran the Country Boy Market meat department in Shafter and he leased the Sportsman Cafe. His body was recovered April 16 after his boat capsized while he fished.
