Air Show at Shafter Airport to Feature Jim Moss Heroics
aerobatic star Jim Moss, a Northwest Airlines pilot and former Marine, headlines Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce air show at Shafter Airport May 21 22. Moss, 34, holds FAA ratings, owns a 33 acre western Washington airstrip and builds a custom Great Lakes aerobatic plane, a model 2T 1A with advanced features. Spectators will see Moss perform low level maneuvers during the event tied to the Bakersfield 100 International Championship Stock Airplane Races.
