Shafter Healthy Start featured at Kern advisory board meeting
At the Kern County Network for Advisory Board Meeting in Bakersfield at the Double Tree Hotel, Judge Michael Bush spoke on how the Juvenile Court system works. Shafter Healthy Start presented statistics showing 380 participants aged 6 to 17 served recently, with 25 daily clients assisted from December to February, and stories of families gaining immunizations, parenting and Mommy and Me classes, dental and vision services, and housing referrals.
