Kern County in running for national cemetery site
Kern County remains a leading candidate for a new national cemetery with White Wolf Valley highlighted for beauty and accessibility. A Kern County task force returned from Washington praising officials for a productive visit and signaling on site reviews by Rep. Danielson in April or May with hearings to follow. The remaining California sites include federal land near March Field Riverside County and near San Luis Dam Merced County.
