Linzey S. Reinbold Dies at Brownstown
Linzey S. Reinbold 68 a Brownstown resident died Monday at home from a heart attack. He was born March 18 1880 in Brownstown and spent most of his life there. Survived by wife Georgia Bailey four daughters Opal Goen Hazel Miller Catherine Pemberton Eileen McKain and son George Reinbold plus a brother a sister and seven grandchildren. Funeral set for 2 pm Thursday at Brownstown Baptist Church with burial in Fairview Cemetery.

Seaman Berry Feted With Sunday Funeral in Crothersville
Seaman First Class Clarence Berry Jr. will be buried with military rites Sunday at 1 30 PM from the Crothersville Methodist Church, with Rev. Walter Moseley officiating. Burial will be in Crothersville cemetery. Berry died May 25 1943 in Algiers during service as armed guard on the USS Lafollett and naval reserve of the USS Vincennes. He was born December 19 1919 in Crothersville and survived by his father Clarence Berry Sr and siblings in Indiana.

Man Fined After Crash South of Seymour
Aubrey Ecton of Indianapolis was fined 10 and costs in C C Elliott court for failing to have an operator license. Officer Paul D. Christian arrested him after a Sunday night crash on U S Road 31 near the pit scales southeast of Seymour. Ecton’s car collided with a 1946 coupe driven by Mae Matthews of North Vernon as both headed north and Ecton allegedly began to pass.
