Welch & Co. Take Over Alaska Central Railway Contract

A. F. Davis & Co to Open Seward Wholesale Liquor House

A. F. Davis & Co will open a strict wholesale liquor house in Seward once location and arrangements are settled. It will sell only to licensees and will handle liquors and cigars plus bar bank and office fixtures. Davis and associates are Alaska veterans. Messrs Bailey and Fletcher of Apollo mine at Unga were recent Dora passengers, marking the mine's final wind-up after yielding over three million in gold and machinery costs exceeding three hundred thousand.
