Looping the Loop Ends in Severe Injury to Boy
Ray Noggle fifteen years old suffered a heavy fall while attempting a perilous incline ride to mimic looping the loop. He struck ground hard, was unconscious, and later stabilized with facial and head injuries but no internal damage. His family rushed home from Chicago as neighbors and a surgeon treated his wounds.

Benton Pioneer William Kreader Dies at 82
William Kreader, Benton county pioneer and longtime businessman, died at 10 30 this morning at his home in Benton. He leaves his wife and two children Thomas Kreader and Mrs Clifford Watson, both residents of the area. Born in Pennsylvania in 1824, he came to Iowa in 1861 and first settled in Shellsburg, later moving to Winton two years ago where the family has since resided. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. He was among the county's oldest business figures and widely known locally.
