Willem Jackean of Vinton alias Ot iFrank Jackson, jailed in Minneapolis for forged checks in Waterloo, used name Edward Reed on three checks totaling 28.30 dollars. He worked at ACM Chamberlain Rope Heel factory on Sycamore street. The checks cashed at Badley deterg, Jackman Bros saloon and A Gortell shop. He died Saturday night by drinking carb acid after arrest.

The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Marquis died Sunday evening at 10 10 at the family home in Waterloo Bas. The child was born August 26 1906. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 30 from the German Evangelical Lutheran church at the corner of Dans and Logan City.
