Poison Maniac Well Bred Man
Albert H. Williams, son of G. W. Williams, a Waterloo man with ties to the Hlinvie Central, is described as a educated 40 year old bookkeeper and machinery expert. He faced multiple life crises including three laudanum attempts, and is slated for assignment to farm work by G. E. Slocum. Williams is portrayed as volatile, capable of landing steady jobs yet prone to drinking sprees that trigger violent ends. The report traces his erratic history from Grinnell to Waterloo, his legal handling, and the intention to place him under oversight away from his relatives’ scrutiny. Engineer J. C. Payne and wife plan a Chicago trip.
