Fort Des Moines to get a new chapel plan
Congressman Hull reports that plans are being prepared for a chapel at Fort Des Moines. Quartermaster General Aleshire says plans will go to the construction quartermaster for erection. Bids will be called by advertisement. Hull secured 15000 dollars in the last army appropriation for the chapel. The government has not previously built chapels at military stations. Fort Des Moines will thus gain a fine building for religious services.
