Elevator Accident at Eldora Pipe and Tile Works
Five workers were seriously injured when an elevator chain broke at the Eldora Pipe and Tile company plant Saturday. Will Burke Dies After Prolonged Coma in Iowa
Billy Burke an Iowa Central telegraph operator and Eldora station agent died in Mason City after more than two weeks in a comatose state. He left a wide circle of friends across Ackley Marshalltown Eldora and Goodell where relatives reside. Doctors could not determine the cause despite tests and remedies.
