A Saturday afternoon accident near Eldora left John Blossi, a local farmer, with a badly broken leg and multiple bruises after his buggy was struck by a C and N W train at the railway crossing near the Catholic church. Blossi, deaf, did not hear the signals but survived with injuries. doctors say the leg may be saved.
Mrs. Huse, wife of pioneer settler Joseph Huse of Robertson, died Monday after suffering two recent strokes. A 57-year-old mother of five, she had lived in Robertson for 25 years with her husband, three sons surviving. The Huse family has long been prominent in the community.
A syndicate secures the Kiltie's for a matinee at Wisner opera house Eldora on Friday Oct 26 at 2 80 pm. Fifty two will wear Scotch costumes and perform airs songs and Highland dances. Reserved seats on sale at FP J Udgar's starting Oct 15. Seats priced 1 2 3 and 4.

Stout who preached the dedicatory sermon. Women served dinner to visitors in the basement, and all were well fed. The church is among the strongest and most prosperous in the area with a large Sabbath School.
