Judge Albrook excused the jury until Monday November 18 to assemble in the forenoon. Sheriff Walsh notified all jurors by telephone except a few, to save county expense. Plenty of work is promised for next week and the following.

John J. Large of Rock Valley and John Olson of Forest City, representing the Comptroller of the Currency and the Auditor of State, performed their routine examinations. They approved all activities, checked records, and noted that reports go to headquarters. The bank’s board also reviews operations for customer transparency, welcoming inspectors who may return as often as they wish.
Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Sheldon observed their fifty fourth wedding anniversary last Monday with a gathering of forty seven descendants including children grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sheldon came to Hardin county in 1854 and after store years at Point Pleasant married in Knox county Ohio fifty four years ago. They have five sons and four daughters living in Eldora Iowa Falls Thompson Hubbard and Eldora. A dinner with roast turkey and eight chickens followed. Mr. Sheldon turned eighty one last August.

A New Hat Shop owned by Mrs. Kate M. Fagg will display a comparison of ancient millinery with modern lines on November 10-11. Also noted is a new infants wear line at Fagg's shop and a note on local real estate while local car owner Ray Boody buys a Buick to run an auto livery. The town sees wedding market humor and Webster City prepares a large revival meeting starting November 18 lasting a month with a 2,500 capacity tabernacle.
