Coming of the Stranger and Local Visits in Early Iowa

Eldora Band Open Air Concert Plan Clarified

A misunderstanding caused townspeople and country visitors to expect an open air Eldora band concert in the square last Wednesday. The band announced at its recent meeting that it will hold a weekly open air concert in the square at 8 o'clock each Wednesday, weather permitting, with a rain date the following evening. National Educational Association Annual Meeting Notice

With a $2 membership fee added an annual meeting of the National Educational Association announces tickets available through the Nickel Plate road from July 2 inclusive, return travel July 8 to 12 inclusive without deposit with the joint agent.
