Investigators describe a deep cavity about fifteen feet deep under the wagon road, with crust only about eighteen inches thick, risking collapse under heavy loads. bridging may be required before safe passage is allowed.

Mrs Alice Hubbard Dies After Cancer Battle
Mrs. Alice D. Hubbard nee Moore born Syracuse January 11 1845 lived in Marshall since 1864 died in Chicago June 20 1905 after cancer therapy. She married Deville Hubbard in 1865 and was active in several social and literary clubs. Survived by three children and served as vice president of Hardin County State Bank. Mrs Jennie Allen resumes serving Allen ice cream near the opera house.
