Blydenburgh trial jurors named in poison case
The Blydenburgh murder trial secured a jury after a day and a half. The panel includes farmers from Hardin and surrounding townships. State opening alleges Mrs Blydenburgh died May 24 1903 after dinner poisoned by arsenic, with autopsy and experts cited. Defense counters she was chronically sick and that poisoning by another was possible. Proceedings reveal testimony from Dr Gethman and local neighbors, with further expert evidence on stomach and organ tests to come.
