Eldora special correspondent to the Times-Republican reports County Supervisor H. F. Granner returning from the National Good Road convention in Detroit. He helped draft resolutions urging state laws for county road systems with public vote, engineer control, a three member advisory committee, tax limits, county plans, and bond and repeal provisions.
Mrs. T. J. Crippen wife of Dr. J. J. Crippen longtime district presiding elder died in Evanston after a peaceful illness at Mt. Vernon she had no pain in her final days The couple resided in Mt. Vernon and Dr Crippen now serves Cornell College as financial agent mourning the loss of his longtime partner
Drs. Dich and Kier set up as dentists in the new Smith building, offering oral care services to local residents with updated facilities and equipment.

Rosa d irina Irelands famed soprano and organist and G R Ventom tenor and humorist will give an entertainment at the Wisner opera house on Tuesday evening Sebry 24 for the benefit of St Marys Catholic church. The program features Boeke Hoelscher and others in a high class show sure to attract liberal patronage.
