The Grays-Waterloo League will relocate two scheduled Marshalltown Waterloo league games to Eldora. The matches, set for Sept 7 and 8, will be held at Eldora fair grounds. Each club receives 200 dollars for the two games, with about 150 dollars net for the local and Waterloo associations.
Matt Bangasser and O P Olmstead slipped from a scaffold about eighteen feet while shingling Mrs George Peters barn. Bangasser eased impact, Olmstead struck a hatchet, cut on leg, physician summoned. Both bruised but not seriously hurt. Ackley World.

Eldora Spestul to Register and Leader. Jack Pollard, carnation king of Eldora, born near Belfast, built a world class career in floriculture. He created notable varieties like Scented Promises and Lady Annesley, studies in Europe guiding his greenhouse here.
