Mr and Mrs H C Ludemann celebrated their fifteenth marriage anniversary at their Liberty Park home Sunday afternoon. About fifty guests attended a six o'clock dinner with relatives friends and Sunday school teachers from the German Evangelical church. Autumn leaves decorated the scene and glassware gifts were presented.
The Royal Tribe of Joseph and the Cosmopolitan Life Insurance Association consolidate with Springfield headquarters planned in Missouri. The merged company will operate under the Cosmopolitan Life Insurance Association name with about 1500000 in assets and 19050 members. Leadership includes J E Ritchey and Dr Ira T Bronson. Virginia and District of Columbia work stay under Col R B Yowell.

Sedalia mourns Justice T. P. Berry 61 who died after a hospital stay in St Louis. A former Missouri Pacific railroad shop worker, he moved from Chamois to Sedalia in 1887 and served as justice of the peace since 1902. Survived by daughter Ora Berry and a son in Chicago, funeral set Tuesday at 3 PM in Chamois with Rev B F Martin officiating.

Eight men were killed and several injured when a traveling crane overloaded broke the edge of the Wa bash bridge over the Monongahela river in Pittsburg. The crane toppled into the river, dragging workers into the water during construction.
