Sedalia November 15 1903 shoppers learn underwear is key to proper costuming. The store offers full winter stock for women and children with ribbed and cotton fleeced underwear at 50c. Women s vests and pants from 1 to 1 50. Union suits 48c to 3 59. Equestrienne tights misses and women 51c to 1 50. Children's vests pants 25c to 65c. Children's union suits 25c to 5c.
The Holman murder trial resumed with Dr E F Staats describing Parsons wound and death after a fatal abdomen injury. Dr W J Ferguson testified on Holman’s many wounds and noted a bloodied knife at Parsons house, as witnesses recounted the family feud over a girl and alleged improper request. The case features Parsons Holman and McFarland witnesses with adjournment to 1 20.
Five Wentworth avenue electric trains ran downtown with heavy police aboard while crowds of over five hundred strikers hooted the cars. Officials say the backbone of the strike is broken but may extend if the executive committee resumes walkout.
Washington on November 12 marked the official recognition of the Republic of Panama by the United States. Jefferson City Missouri November 13 A new feature may be added to the grand jury work as subpoenas issued to witnesses with information on methods alleged in the bribery trial of Senator Farris. The aim is to uncover influences behind the hung jury after sixteen hours of deliberation.
Mary McDonald through attorney J H Bowron files suit in circuit court for a legal separation. She alleges marriage on April 15 1900 and cohabitation until October 1 1900 when he abandoned her and refuses support.
James Ewing was arraigned in Justice N. H. Rogers' court today and sentenced to five days in jail for assault.
