The Sedalia street railway sale has been approved. Judge Phillips signed the order. Judge Shirk will file the incorporation papers for a new bondholder company to take over the property. Receivers Waller Flower receive $1500 each plus Waller gets $125 monthly for 16 months. The new company named The Railway and Electric Company of Sedalia, Missouri, has $250000 capital stock with 1000 preferred and 1500 common shares. Preferred holders include W B Broomall, L A Duhring, and Lewis Davis of Philadelphia. Common holders include Broomall, Duhring, Davis, and local residents Sirk, Powell, and Smith.

Preferred Death to Jail Stuns St Joseph After Robbery
A stranger about 40, likely E. H. Lambertson of Wallace Mo, stole Dr. W B Davis horse and buggy. Dr Davis and Patrolman Hiefer chased him, found no weapon, and after a patrol wagon was ordered he shot himself aboard the police wagon dying soon after at the station. Fort Scott Kansas May 30 an ancient relic has been uncovered at the Gillillan Drake flagstone quarry west of the city. A clearly defined right foot imprint about twenty feet long lies in sandstone beneath the earths surface suggesting a giant human foot from centuries past.

Runaway Horse Damages Wagon At Market House
A horse belonging to C. L. Sinnish ran away at the market house around 4 PM, collided with a post, and damaged the delivery wagon and harness. It fled east on Second Street and was caught near Ohio by Poundmaster Beatty. Beatty quoted Sinnish a $1 retrieval fee.
