A warrant was issued for former Sedalia police officer William Thompson on kidnapping charges after he allegedly abducted his 11 year old daughter from Broadway school Thursday afternoon. Thompson pursued by Dragging the girl to 303 Ohio Street and locking her in a room before she was found and returned to her mother around 6 pm. He is to be tried by Justice Kinsey at 2 pm Saturday and is free on bond. He previously worked at the Katy shops and was divorced. recently married in St Louis to Cora Swearingen.
