Edward Hurley Dead Pioneer Sedalia Contractor and Citizen
Edward Hurley aged 68 died at his home in Sedalia after months of illness. A native of Ireland he came to America in 1854 and settled in Sedalia in 1872. He built many local structures including the post office and public library and served as city collector and bank organizer. Funeral is at Sacred Heart Church tomorrow at 9 o’clock under Rev Neiberg with no flowers.

He belonged to Eintracht lodge 176 AOUW and George R Smith post GAR.
