Vice Chairman Ford A Allen arrived in the city last night to probe ongoing affairs and review local actions. He will meet officials and assess administrative practices during his visit.
Missouri state mediator Ford A Allen arrived in Sedalia to arbitrate between the M K T railroad and striking blacksmiths helpers. He met General Foreman Wigton after a long session and indicated a settlement may come soon. Meanwhile Katy shipped about five hundred damaged cars to St Charles, moving work away from Sedalia.
