Sedalia Mo mayor J L Babcock described Kansas City flood areas as worst seen and praised stockyards and the Santa Fe sink hole while in the West bottoms. He said Sedalia sent meat aid and can send more if needed and returned to Sedalia last night.
In Belgrade the new king of Serbia is formally crowned in front of the national assembly. The ceremony marks the transition of power and affirms the monarchy amid regional political tensions. Public figures and residents observe the royal event.

Portland reports a catastrophic cloudburst at Heppner Oregon with 350 to 500 feared dead and over a hundred bodies recovered. The entire town is said to be destroyed and all wires were down leaving limited information. Heppner population around 1200.
The June 15 1919 Scranton convention gathers miners to press recognition of district presidents Nicholls Duffy and Fahey on the arbitration board. If operators refuse to recognize the leaders a general strike may follow the conciliatory board’s troubles.
