A disturbed engineer driven by overwork and sleep loss killed his wife and daughter and then died by suicide this morning at Clarence Lake. Authorities note the tragedy as a self-inflicted act following severe stress and family crisis.
James Stacey, engineer at a Burlington railroad pumping station, murdered his wife and daughter in Clarence Lake, using a weight from an old clock.
