Collision on Missouri Pacific causes wreck at Howard
The Missouri Pacific freight No 129 rear ended its own following section at Howard four miles from St Louis last night after an air hose burst. Engineer O Connor and fireman Nelson escaped injury by jumping. conductor Lowry slightly injured. Damage estimated at 20000 dollars with engine and cars wrecked and a fire quickly extinguished.
