Mysterious Death By Overdose In Kansas City Rooming House
A about 60 year old man, slender with dark beard, was found dead Friday night in rooming house at 513 Walnut street Kansas City. He died by taking six ounces of laudanum and two ounces of chloroform to end his life. he had no identifying papers, and the lodging house keeper cannot recall his name. The body was taken to Wagner's undertaking establishment while authorities seek identification. He claimed to be from Greencastle Indiana and had worked on the Missouri river near Hermann.
