Charles Reis, a Black man, shot his wife at a Boonville dance on the water front last night. After firing five rounds three struck, she died instantly. Reis surrendered to Deputy Sheriff Koenig and an inquest returned a verdict respecting the tragedy. The crime is attributed to jealousy and hostility.
