A rebuilding project is announced for Beplehem Church located beside the historic oldest church in Petts County. The plan outlines restoration efforts and community impacto.
Sunday School Convention of Harmony Association will be held at Smithton. The piece outlines features of Sunday services in Sedalia temples of worship including The Church The Sunday School and the Auxiliary Organizations.
The Harmony Baptist reports the Beth lehem church six miles south of Sedalia will be rebuilt with work begun after a January 23 business meeting. A soliciting committee led by Rev. Wm. Rogers will raise funds, and Rogers was elected pastor. A Sunday school convention program for Harmony Association at Smithton March 29 to 31 is detailed.
Bryant Tewmey D G Co advertises final clearance of fire damaged items with deep cuts on muslin corsets waistlines and other garments. Remaining stock offered at 29 to 69 cents with several lines newly added and sizes irregular due to prior damage.
A local ad lists corset covers in several styles at 13e with former prices doubled. A 50¢ grade trimmed merchandise is 29¢, drawers are reduced to 42e, and $9e plus $1.00 items go at 69e.
Bargains in this line of offered at Fire Prices have been appreciated to such an extent that they will be continued. This week a special line of Black Goods valued at 1.50 and 1.75 is offered at 1.00 per yard.

Real estate report notes J. T. Patterson of Houstonia Missouri bought the well improved Higgins farm in the same locality from Sam D. Higgins. Purchase marks a notable local transfer of property this week.
The Morris Real Estate Company acted as brokers in the purchase. It is likely that Mr. Rliggins will relocate to Montana, a move mourned by the paper as he and his family are among the community's best people.

A gang of about forty cowboys on mustangs rode into Sedalia from the west and shot up Bowery saloons. Constables arrested the riders, the justice fined $13.40, and the amount was remitted on condition they buy Hot Stuff Coal from Kohen Koal Ko at $83 per ton. Miss May Burford of Sunny Meade school and Miss Bessie Curley of Prairie Valley school attended graduation examinations at County Superintendent Coleman’s office on Saturday. Several teachers also took exams for certificates. Harness dealer O P Wilcox on Second Street will supply patrons with premium stamps for his goods.
