In Jefferson City on February 17 Senator Young's bill to split reformatory costs with counties passes. Speakers like Clay Heather urge higher delinquent youth funding, noting disparities in education funding and prior measures. House committee chair Weaver introduces two appropriation bills funding state universities, education, and incidental expenses with detailed allocations.
Lees Summit Missouri February report states Cole Younger will depart next week to organize Cole Younger's Wild West Show funded by Chicago investors. Frank James may appear as a performer but is not a co owner. Younger will manage the show and avoid public appearances, aligning with Minnesota pardon board obligations. The new fifty thousand dollar venture will not tour Minnesota.

In a separate note the wedding of William Harrold Warren of Rosedale Missouri to Agnes Ballantine Scott of Spokane Washington will be held tonight at the groom's sister home.
