At about 9 pm Sunday Birch McCurdy and a woman witnessed a horse and buggy go missing from a hitch post near Charles Walch's. Officer Price recovered the rig by 12:30 am with Jimmy Stahl, a hunchbacked cripple, intoxicated and driving wildly, who was arrested and jailed after also allegedly taking his mother’s pocketbook.
